The ASCA Board of Directors has been reviewing a proposed comprehensive rewrite of the Registry Rules, and is now inviting feedback from the membership before the Board considers final adoption.

The primary goals of this project were to:

• Reorganize related rules into a more logical and user-friendly format.
• Improve clarity and consistency throughout the document.
• Remove outdated language, expired provisions, and unnecessary duplication.
• Update procedures to reflect current Registry practices.
• Preserve the intent of the existing rules except where specific policy changes are proposed.

A summary of the major changes is also available to provide an overview of the revised organization and the most significant updates.

When reviewing the proposal, please consider whether:

• Any section is unclear or could be interpreted in more than one way.
• Any important requirement appears to have been omitted.
• Any provision appears inconsistent with another section.
• Any revision unintentionally changes the intent of an existing policy.
• A proposed policy change may create an unintended consequence.

Please submit feedback to [email protected] no later than September 1, 2026. Including the applicable section number with each comment will help us review and organize the feedback efficiently.

Comments will be compiled and considered before a final version is presented to the Board of Directors for possible adoption at its Nationals meeting.
