Resignation of Director Lynda Hardin & Announcement of Vacancy on the ASCA Board

Dear ASCA Members,

I am writing to announce the resignation of Lynda Hardin from the Board of Directors of ASCA, effective immediately. We would like to take this opportunity to express our heartfelt thanks to Lynda for her service to ASCA.

As per ASCA’s policies, the Board will now seek a candidate to fill the remainder of Lynda’s term, which expires at the 2026 National Specialty. The process for filling the vacancy is detailed in Section 8.12 of the Policy Book.

Members interested in filling the vacancy will have until March 16, 2024, to submit their resumes to asca.execsec@gmail.com for consideration.

Upon the expiration of the deadline, the position will be filled by an affirmative vote by a majority of the remaining Directors at the next monthly Board meeting. The appointed candidate will serve for the unexpired term of their predecessor in office.

We want to assure you that the Board is committed to a fair and transparent selection process, and we encourage any interested members to consider applying for this important role. We will keep you informed of any further updates.

Respectfully,

Kalla Jaco
