Dear Affiliate Clubs,
We are reaching out to provide you with an update concerning a decision taken by the ASCA Board of Directors that will affect your trial and show procedures.
Based on the feedback we have received from our Business Office, the Board has decided to modify the previously announced trial period concerning entry form submission requirements.
The trial period, which will commence on June 1, 2023, and conclude on October 1, 2023, has been adjusted as follows: affiliates will still be required to submit entry forms for conformation and junior events. However, for all other programs, the submission of entry forms will not be required. This modification seeks to reduce administrative demands without compromising the thoroughness of the data required.
The focus remains on ensuring that the Business Office receives precise and comprehensive information. We urge you to retain all paperwork related to your events, particularly for those where the entry form submission has been waived for this trial period.
For the trial period to be deemed a success, it is imperative that show secretaries and coordinators maintain stringent standards of accuracy, clarity, and prompt responses to any requests for information from the Business Office. The success of this trial hinges on our collective efforts to ensure the integrity of the data provided.
Remember, this change applies to show/trial results that are postmarked (if mailed) or received (if emailed) by the Business Office between June 1, 2023, and October 1, 2023.
We invite you to actively participate during this trial period and share your experiences and feedback. Your perspectives will play a pivotal role in guiding the Board’s decision on whether to make this change a permanent one.
Sincerely,
Kalla Jaco
ASCA Executive Secretary
