After more than 25 years of dedicated service to ASCA and Aussie Times, Cynthia Moorhead is preparing to step into a well-earned retirement.

For more than two decades, Cynthia has played an important role in bringing Aussie Times to our members, helping document ASCA’s programs, accomplishments, dogs, people, and history along the way. We are incredibly grateful for the many years of time, talent, and commitment she has given to ASCA.

Fortunately, Cynthia isn’t disappearing overnight! She will continue working with us during the transition and will help the incoming Editor get settled into the role before she officially steps away to enjoy the next chapter of life.

With that transition beginning, ASCA is now accepting applications for our next Aussie Times Managing Editor/Designer.

The position is remote and will oversee the quarterly publication process, including editorial coordination, advertising, proofreading, layout and design, and preparation of the final print-ready publication.

This is a 1099 Independent Contractor position, and ASCA has not established a fixed pay range. Applicants should include their proposed rate and preferred compensation structure with their resume and work samples. Final compensation will be negotiated based on experience, qualifications, and the agreed-upon scope of services.
