Applications are now open for the Libby Long Memorial Obedience Award for Junior Handlers!

This annual award honors the memory of Donna Long and her dog, Libby, while recognizing junior handlers who are dedicated to ASCA obedience competition and the sport as a whole.

The award includes a $500 prize and celebrates the enthusiasm, sportsmanship, and commitment that Donna was known for, especially in encouraging and mentoring junior handlers.

Eligibility includes:
• ASCA junior handlers ages 9–18 in good standing
• Participation in ASCA obedience events between June 1 and May 31 of the award year

Applications are accepted from June 1 through July 15 and must include:
• A record of obedience participation for the year
• Copies of ASCA obedience title certificates
• An essay based on the annual topic
