All Around Junior

Junior Showmanship

In order to qualify for the All Around Junior Award a Junior must compete in Junior Handling and Working. Remaining points may be earned from Obedience, Rally, or Tracking. The junior with the most points throughout the year (the points from each section are added together), providing he/she has met all the requirements for each section, will win the award. In the case that there are no other Junior competing in all areas, the award will NOT be given that year. In case of a tie, both will win the award.

The All Around Junior award in the ASCA Junior Program pays transportation costs to the ASCA National. The Junior will be responsible for airfare for any dogs brought, lodging and meals.

The one paying the Junior’s travel expenses will be reimbursed for either mileage or airfare to the National, whichever is less. Special circumstances, i.e. the Junior is unable to enter the current year’s National, the BOD may allow the Junior to apply the award to the next year’s National.
Hosting clubs of the National Specialty will hold 1 stock run each in Cattle, Ducks and Sheep for the year end All Around Junior winner until the closing date of entries.
